Usually, when someone likes somebody, they make subconscious movements (i. e. trying to be closer to you, siting next to you when there’s other available seats available, looking to you when someone says something funny, looking to you first when plans are being made, their feet are turned to towards you when sitting down, etc).
Of course, there’s always being overly nice and touchy. But this can just be the person’s normal behaviour so be careful with that one.
When someone likes someone they take interest into knowing their likes, dislikes, hobbies and friends-family, etc.
