I’m a very bold person because I was abused and persecuted so much in my life that I am not intimidated by public shaming or open criticism anymore, but sometimes emotional closeness with a guy makes me insecure and uncomfortable, to the point where I won’t even go to a restaurant with a guy I like.

Yes, there are person who may seems confident in some way but at the same time they might be shy for other things like very confident in communication but shy at bed, or not comfortable in public for certain things.
