Why do beautiful girls not have a effect on me unless she’s sweet?

I feel almost totally indifferent. Like they’re beautiful. But I just see them as people anymore. I don’t get butterflies or gushy around them.

But as soon as I’m around a sweet woman. Sometimes I can tell someone’s trying to act sweet or cute but it’s just fake….

She can be very beautiful or even average looking and I absolutely just melt inside, blush, stumble over myself, etc. I mean be it at church or sometimes just random women I have interacted with. They’re just so genuine and sweet and make me feel the most wonderful emotions you could ever think of or imagine

I might be able to answer it as I sorta fall into the same boat. Even I look at someone the fascination with someone's beauty only lasts for a split moment (just the time it takes you glance over and your brain to process the data)

It's because as i define it. A person's beauty is useless unless it is complimented by a equally beautiful personality.

I think it's because many/most beautiful women have terrible personalities and attitude problems, and that's very unattractive.

Also, sweetness is a very feminine personality trait, which obviously is very attractive to men.

I do admire beauty and not all women who are good looking have terrible personality’s.
