In disputed custody cases, the judge decides on the best interests of the child (or children). Like any other civil case, each case is decided on the preponderance of the information presented and it usually isn’t pretty, nobody is happy, and the child is always the loser no matter how it’s decided. My firm has seen cases where the best interest of the children was to take them from both parents and give them to CPS, but laws favor biological parents. So which do you choose, the mom who almost burns down the house because she routinely passes out drunk with food on the stove, or the dad who has a history of temper outbursts and has plenty of money for tattoos and weed but never enough for food? Men have been complaining for decades that divorce courts favor women (especially financially - the old “she got the elevator and I got the shaft”), and in many respects I think men’s complaints are justified. The system isn’t perfect where child custody disputes are concerned, sometimes it’s a matter of picking your poison between parents, which is why CASA has become such an important part of child custody cases. I don’t think anyone has a band-aid fix for the issue, since each case is decided on its own merits and has nothing to do with judges themselves. To date, nobody has come up with a reasonable legislative solution. I doubt you’ll see one since disputed cases are the minority.

mainly because for centuries women have been considered to be made for taking care of kids and to be way way better at it than guys. also in our culture there's still like a pretty big stereotype that guys dont know how to be parents and are lost without moms and that moms have a stronger connection to the kids. a lot of people would think it would be really weird if the mom didn't get the custody because of all those things even if the dad is actually a better choice

Standards of law change very slowly. This has benefits and drawbacks. In order to produce any meaningful change in a shorter period of time, we need a preponderance of support from the public. Since far less than fifty percent of people are in favor of men having more parenting rights, there is little motivation to change those laws. Changing child custody laws wouldn’t just make for happier fathers and happier children. It would literally save lives. Women are far more likely than men to murder their own children. That’s a statistical fact. Giving fathers default custody and making mothers prove their quality of parenting would be a sheer reversal of the current standard. We don’t even need to go that far to save the lives of children. But we won’t do anything because of the political backlash of challenging the notion that women are anything less than perfect, and men are anything more than monsters.

There was another case where the mother was about to lose custody and she tried to kill her little girl and boy she stabbed one of the babies but the dad broke in and took them but still lost one because they bled out before they made it to the hospital

Honestly I don't know for sure but I will say I wish the judges gave full custody to my dad info 50/50 but my mom is very good at manipulating, she was one of the biggest reasons I lost respect for women for a long period of time, It’s only been a few years sense I have trained myself to respect women, it’s honestly extremely sad on my part! no one should have to put effort in having to try to respect another gender or race but at a young age kids are very impressionable and curtain people (like my mom) can change a view on a child’s life! To be honest with you, I totally get it.

I’m completely fed up with all the liberalism and most especially the Woke stuff, this just being a part of it. As we pretend women are disadvantaged compared to men, yet continually receive special treatment, particularly lighter criminal sentences for the same crimes.
