Smart women were always strong willed and independent minded. But because of unfair laws combined with misogynistic attitudes and patriarchal social norms, they still needed a man to survive.

The only difference today is, they are allowed to go to college and pursue careers if they choose. They can own property and businesses, sign contracts, etc. Oh, and thanks to contraception, they can have sex without fear of getting pregnant.

So, in a way, things have become more complicated for women, just as things were complicated for men in the past.

At the same time, women today can choose to pursue more traditional lifestyles. All that has really changed is their ability to choose for themselves.

I don't consider myself independent of women, at least not in the emotional sense.

Maybe I could live without a woman, but saying I won't like her it's not true.

Sometimes I have the feeling that women like to neglect that these days, that neglecting that they like men has become a fashion trend.

It's weird looking at it from that perspective, since I consider it that they're just expected to be an adult. Everyonen needs know how to take one on the chin, be responsible, and want to move forward in life. I don't think this just happened recently either where women stopped being traditional, as people's mothers have had to make many sacrifices for their family. (I know all mother's are not like this, but many are)

Yes. Because they actually say they want to do it. For example on gag lots of posts like "my parents want me to do this but I don't want to but I want to be a good daughter" they don't want to but feel pressured to do things. But with this, they never have that I don't want to feeling. No girls are saying "everyone wants me to be boss bitch and I don't want to but I think I will to please them" no. They might not want to at some level but they are tricking themselves by saying that is actually what they want.
