Why does my presence piss off a girl I don't talk to?

I don't talk to this girl very much, she used to be neutral to my presence, and then she randomly enjoyed my presence and would smile and laugh when I was around, often trying to joke around with me, I just ignored her when she did this, and now whenever I am around, her facial expressions and body language change, and it is visibly clear that she is pissed off by my presence, she will be completely chill, then if I walk by, her expressions change.

I was always neutral to her presence, and never cared about it, I barely talk to her or care for what she thinks of me, I'm just intrigued by the psychology of this. How does one get mad by someone's presence when you barely talk to them and have no bad blood.

I am high school senior, she is as well.

After I ignored her trying to joke around with me, she went back to being neutral to my presence, and then after some time she suddenly started to become pissed of by my sheer presence.

I provided all the information there was, the behaviour confused me as it probably did to you, which is why I asked this question.

To anyone else in the comments, if you can, can you explain any sort of psychological principles behind this, I have always had an interest in human psychology and behaviour.

I would assume this chick built up a case against you all on her own. Just you not getting friendly once you received positive output from her was probably enough for her to start hating on you. It's not even real rejection but she probably took it as some sort of real rejection.

On top of all that... it's a chick. Chicks really have no idea on how to handle rejection on any level. I'm not trying to be a he-man woman hater, I'm just saying women have a real hard time taking any sort of rejection simply because they have the titts and they're not used to it. I mean seriously she probably expected you to simp out just because she fucking smiled and acted nice. ... if that makes any sense.

She flirted with you and you ignored her. In her mind, the mere act of flirting should have had you worshiping the ground she walks on.

So now to her, you're a complete asshole (girl-speak for "a guy who doesn't do what I want him to") for not recognizing that she gets to choose, and you're supposed to go along with it.
