My girlfriend sent me a TikTok with some lady saying:
"Just because another man has more than my man, doesn't mean I want him. My man could be a street cleaner, and I would still stay with him, because I see greatness in him. Even if no one else does. I'm with him because I see his value, not because of what he has!"

I get it was meant to be a sweet way of saying she loves me for me, but still... I'm certainly no broke ass MFer who needs that kind of reassurance

Am I overthinking?
Or does she think I have low social value and I need a pat on the back?
