I’m sorry as a man I do need to be loved….. If a woman can’t love she’s worthless to me.

Also, most women unless they have absolutely no self respect, no dignity, etc need to be respected

I prefer to say that men need to be regarded, rather than respected. Because respect is viewed as a step above mutual concern and shared consideration for a person and I believe people should be treated like they are equal or slightly unequal with one receiving a little more honour and prestige, but not like a master slave type of difference between two people, maybe a big brother, normal brother type of difference between two status carriers in a relationship. Also I believe regard and love must be mutually used. Regard without love is cowardliness and love without regard is sexual exploitation.
