Is this a red flag or truly something to be sympathetic of?

My girlfriend recently told me of a friend that has touched her (groped her inappropriate really from the sounds). Anyways, she was going to class with this guy and apparently he started to feel her boobs under her shirt she didn’t encourage it but didn’t tell him to stop only said she felt uncomfortable. Then she told her parents and everybody and nobody believed her about the story as she had stayed friends with the person. So is it concerning she stayed friends with someone who basically sexually harassed her but also felt strongly enough to tell someone they did that? Is this a self esteem issue or why would she stay friends with someone who did this? Any help? Opinions?

If it did happen then all I have to wonder what she was thinking. If true it is red flag that she let's people feel her up. I can only assume that this is public too. The fact it was under her shirt is really messed up that she did nothing. I would never allow that to happen. She is obviously not a good girlfriend if she is letting dudes feel her up. I wouldn't have screamed and slapped him then run away. I'd file a report as well.

First of all, that's not sexual harassment, that is sexual assault. Unfortunately for the victims of sexual assault it is very difficult to prove and just like her parents, they didn't believe her. And unless she wants to press charges, which is obvious she doesn't, there's nothing you can do. And she's friends with him still which is a bit strange but if she's ok with it...
