Do you think this is a red flag?

So me and my boyfriend been going out for 2 months now everything has been going really good. But last night he asked me if we can share our locations indefinitely just for safety reasons. I’ve never done that before in a relationship but i understood his concerns cause sometimes i get off work late at night however when he came over and we were talking and having a glass of wine he embraced me and said I don’t think i could let you go even if you wanted to go. I didn’t say anything and just kissed him to not make it feel awkward even though it did but just the way he said it didn’t feel right should i be concerned?

Hard to say at this point BUT it is not good. Maybe he did not say it right. And maybe you are jumping the gun and making stuff up.-I know what you are thinking WITHOUT proof. Your call... You are an adult and you are there. He will sense change or negativity... negative energy.
