You know the type I am talking about. They can comfortably hang with the guys like they are one. For the girls, are you one of the guys?

There is something very valuable about a girl who has similar interests as me, but the way you describe it as "one of the guys" is not how I like her to be. I don't want her to be so comfortable hanging out with the guys. If they are my closest friends and family, then I would actually love it because I have absolute trust in the people that I'm closest with. However, I don't trust all these other guys. It's not that I don't trust guys at all. After all, I am one, and I think there are plenty of guys who have good character, but in a group of guys that I do not know, I will wonder if there is a possibility of danger. If my girl does not realize this, then she is not aware of the world around her, and this is a huge problem for me. I want what's best for her, and I feel the same with the other women I love like my mother and my 3 sisters.

my first girlfriend was somewhat like that, so yes...

she was more of "one of the guys" than I was, lol... as in, she would often hang out more with groups of guys than I would but those were high-school years, then we both grew up more into mixed groups of friends

Yes I used to be a real tomboy and had lots of guy friends.. but typically guys are not attracted to you if you are one of them, since they tell you about all the girls they actually like lol I got with my husband because he was more manly than me and knew how to put me in my place and let me show my girly side..

Every “one of the guys” that has pushed to be included with my core friends group has always ended up trying to get with someone, so it never lasts very long and is a lot of drama so I don’t have the highest opinion on them.

From my experience, these "social butterflies" are good for a hot moment, but not someone I'd want around for the long term. I prefer women that basically hates people in general like I do.

ok so from my experience, there is no way a gilr can just be "one of the guys" unless she gives off a lot of masculine energy. Its not a role that any girl can just take on. Likely she needs to have a lot more in common with men than women. Most likely a tomboy at heart.

secondly, guys prefer girly girls over tomboys. Guys prefer femininity over masculinity. If you want guys to see you as truly "one of the guys" , dating you would never even cross his mind.

Yes 🙌. I can hang with my guy friends. But the problem is 😂 … There’s at least always one guy who will develop romantic feelings towards me and it makes it awkward while hanging out with the gang. It happened many times.

When i try to be close to a guy friend and be nice to them they tend to assume its something else, so i kinda gave up on being close friends with guys.
