Is it normal to have a "girl crush"?

So I'm a straight woman. I'm very confident in that assertion, as although I find women beautiful I could never imagine being intimate with a woman or wanting to be romantically involved.

Recently I've been noticing this girl barista who works in a cafe near my house. It's strange because I still don't feel romantic attraction, but I keep thinking oh wow she's so gorgeous and really pretty, and I can't stop looking at her when I'm there.

That being said I have a boyfriend and I am not romantically attracted to her at all. I think it's just a wee "girl crush".

Is it normal to have a type of crush on a gender you're not attracted to?

Well duh, I think this is the case for most women. Admiration.

I could never be sexually attracted to another woman. Because as a female I’m wired to be sexually attracted to the most dominant, sexually dimorphic male. This means the alpha male in a group. The one with the deepest voice, large veiny hands, broad shoulders, thick eyebrows, Hunter eyes, square warrior jaw, the one who’s getting all the female attention etc

But because we women have a clitoris. This means we can enjoy the male pleasure too, because the clit is like a penis. We feel the same thing a man feels on his penis. So we could enjoy the female figure if she’s fertile, and we can also watch PORN / XXX and get off to it just like a man. This doesn’t mean, we want to reproduce with another female 🤦🏻‍♀️

It is super normal the way you describe it, and I would even say it is normal to be a little bit sexually attracted to girls (which you are not but I am saying even if you were) despite being straight, to me the difference is that while I can be attracted to girls, I only want to be in a romantic relationship w a guy. JMO!

This happened to me once and I started questioning myself. But then I realized that I just admired her. I couldn't see myself dating or having sex with the girl.

If you don't have any romantic or sexual feelings for her, then it's just a innocent crush. Or you might just admire her. It's fine.
