Understandable. I think women tend to take this harder w getting older. Maybe I’m wrong. I don’t think much of what I could say would help alleviate your sadness. I myself am 45, have spent 10 years in the military. Lost numerous friends. Yes I do have some down days, but I push on. I can’t be sad forever knowing all the friends I lost who I’m sure would love to be alive today. Not just that family, friends who we’ve lost. It can be tough, the world doesn’t wait for you regardless of whether you’re ready to move on or not. I’m just happy to that privilege of getting older. May I ask why you’re sad about turning a year older? Just the fear of getting older? Not married? No kids?
