lol… no … been driving over 20 years. Tires don’t go bad when well maintain. There are things women should learn to do before having a need to change tires… like cooking and cleaning lol… I’m jk. I don’t cook or clean either. 😝
Everyone should. And how to pump own gas (pffft on plug-ins - -), how to add oil, washer fluid and the difference between them. Knowing how to jump the battery too. We had all this covered in HS when we had Drivers' Training.
all these "i dont need a man" types ahould know how to do everything like this, otherwise they actually DO need a man simce we can't find out if she is one of those types are not without researching and a lot of these things are emergencies (no time to research then) and so many care more about their (fleeting because they change constantly) feelings and being offended than they do reality, it's probably best to let all fend for themselves and let darwinism sort things out.
My best friend was taught all things auto by her dad meanwhile i can't tell the difference between the brakes and the accelerator, i don't know how to drive haha. I will be learning soon, I'll make sure i know most ins and outs of cars
I can change a tyre but I have about 4 male friends that simply could not do it, they don’t know how to. Then there is being able to replace engine parts, yes can do that but bunch of guys open an engine bonnet and are clueless.
Yes, obviously. When I got my very first car, one of the things I did was change the tyres whilst it was parked at home in the parking lot, just to practice doing it. It turns out it's not that hard to do.
If I had daughters, you can be certain they'd be taught to change a tire. God forbid they ever got stranded somewhere. That said, I'm happy to help anyone regardless of gender if they need a hand with a roadside emergency.
No they should not as almost everyone with car insurance has the road service package which covers flat tires. One simple phone call, 30 min later truck arrives, 15 min later your on your way, cost you nothing.
It also kind of sucks that you don’t look at what she can do. For example, airing their own tires, Washing their own car and being responsible enough to change the oil in it. But that’s how people are anymore, I guess.

Absolutely. If I get a flat in the middle of nowhere, I'm not gonna sit and wait for someone when I could do it myself

Yes. And should have in 2023, 2022, 2021, etc.

More men should honestly know how to change a tire. I know a guy who goes to a shop to put on chains. Like wtf.
I think women should know the basic stuff about cars like changing a tire, replacing wiper blades, Checking the fluids, and replacing light bulbs
½ and ½, ANYONE who owns a vehicle should be able to. Even with my herniated discs I was able to
Equality or not, that is something that all my children will learn regardless of gender.
it will be they ear I teach my niece how to do some maintenance and keep up with a car...

People who learn how to drive should learn how to take care of the things they drive.
by the way why didn’t you ask if men should know?
It goes without saying that most men know how. Women are the ones who usually struggle with this.
I have a AAA membership. I’m of the philosophy that I can’t or don’t know how to do something I’ll pay someone or a service org to do it.
AAA is great until your cell phone doesn't work because there is no signal. When that happens, you're pretty much stuck.
It depends. If she is pretty, men will stop and change her tire for her. If she is a big girl, men will pass her by.
It really depends. A lot of women were raised to think it was wrong for women to work on cars, or their fathers didn’t think so. Shame on you.

Ya but I wouldn’t hold it against her if she didn’t, no shame in calling AAA
Not if you have your partner who can do it 100 times faster and better lmao
I'll maybe make him a sandwich when we get home
