A coworker got a flat driving to work today. He had never changed a tyre before and had no idea how to, I was the ONLY person in the building at the time who knew what to do. I helped him obviously but also didn't just do it for him, taught him how to do it. I think it's funny since I don't drive very much but I swear i learnt how to do it before I learnt how to drive 👀

1 yYes I do, but I do my best to make it as unnecessary as possible, unless it's a full blowout. I carry a portable car battery charger and a portable air compressor as seen here:
These items, along with a few select pocket/hand tools and general routine maintenance, will make it extremely unlikely that your vehicle will ever make you stranded anywhere.

Yeah when he asked me he was like "I got a puncture" got to the car... No no that is a blow out 🥴

Yeah it's amazing how many people that are driving around that don't know how to change a tire, and don't understand the difference between a flat tire and a blowout. If it's a blowout, there's nothing you can do except pull out the spare, if there even IS a spare. Many new vehicles don't even come with a spare any more.

. Okay so you can change the tire now let's pretend the same thing happened can you get the tire off the rim and change the tire that way if you're in the same position... I believe all it would take is you to see it one time and you would be able to do it it's quite easy really all you need is a bumper a good Jack and a couple tire irons and some air00 Reply
1.4K opinions shared on Other topic. Yes, I learned that in driving school, even thought in real world I can't do that with 30cm long wrench in car spare tire set. Even if I jump on the wrench with my 60kg wheel bolts don't lose. However I don't look bad and it doesn't last long until someone will help. Other option for apocalyptic empty world is to buy a telescopic wrench and better car jack.

Yes my mom taught me how to change one during a blizzard when I was 15. But I've only had to change 2 after that. It's kind of crazy how many people don't know how. I honestly thought it was a normal thing everyone was taught.
