Never be in a hurry to get with a date just to have sex, never date a guy just to please him, always make sure that you and him are both happy together if a guy wants to show genuine pure love to you than he sounds like a good guy. You are age 28 but don't let it bring you down because you feel like your life is not going anywhere, you are God's special person, and he loves you and take baby steps to get where you want to in life. What qualities should matter is to be able to love yourself before you love others and never be hard on yourself for it, there is plenty of time. There are decent people who will listen to you, they may not be able to solve the puzzle for you in a quick time, but small advice matters just as a huge conversation does. Best Wishes :)
