Girl I used to work with at an ice cream shop called me and said she wanted to talk. She then proceeded to tell me she used to "really like me"'; if i'm kind of digging her, how do I proceed?

Oh dang, whoa. Was not expecting that! She used to like me, huh. Well ngl she's pretty cute, we always got along at work. I may have had a little thing for her too if I'm being real.

So how to proceed... I'd say be chill about it first. Don't freak her out by coming on too strong. Maybe just text like "thanks for telling me, means a lot. Would be down to grab ice cream sometime and catch up, see where things go."

Keep it casual but let her know you're interested. See how that dinner, er, I mean ice cream date goes first before making any moves. Don't wanna blow it!

And definitely ask around to make sure she's actually single now too, duh. One of the other girls from work can prob let me know the deets without me looking too desperate.

Ask her if she wants to go see a movie with you. Maybe Inside Out 2, tell her you've been curious to see it. Kind of an informal date to see how you vibe, and if it goes well then ask her out on a more formal date next time.

You should tell her the truth it would probably either hurt her feelings or make her feel better about her day. But yet again it's kinda your decision.
