Do non materialistic females’ still exist?

It seems so many females’ are materialistic, like they are never satisfied with what they already have , they always want something and seem to be never satisfied with whatever they have. Don’t get me wrong , I like having things I have worked for and earned but materialistic things don’t really matter to me , I am pretty content when it comes to things , if I can’t afford something , I can’t afford it , but it doesn’t make me hate my life or hate my partner over it. Shit happens and if we really want something we work together to eventually get it , Most females’ want things that second , like she compares her life to other people , fantasizes about living in a mansion or fantasizes about driving a really expensive car , never satisfied with what she already has in front of her. I have been in relationships with girls’ that always wanted something , that were barely ever satisfied with what we already had , She wanted a bigger home , we would get a bigger home , she wanted a new car , we get a new car , but if we couldn’t get something new? All of a sudden I am a POS to her. Why are females’ like this? What makes her feel she is supposed to be catered to at all times? From my experiences with these type of girls’ they all cheat when she doesn’t get her way. She will run to another guy thinking he will cater to her more. That’s why I always say most females’ are selfish people , most of them are never satisfied with whatever they have , they think grass is greener on the other side.

Of course, non-materialistic “females” (or women as most of us prefer to be called) still exist! We are not all 304’s from a “Fresh and Fit”, “Whatever!”, or even “Pearly Things” podcast, and we don’t all have Only Fans accounts, or sell nudes, and jump from one man to the next because he has more money! Some of us were raised with values in two-parent homes, and have a great relationship with our fathers, and we also respect the hell out of men… (well, good decent men w/ character, anyway). I happen to come from a wealthy family, and I have a trust fund, that gives me more money each month, than most American families earn in a year! So I could very easily live my entire life, and never work! But how boring and meaningless would that existence be? I very easily could have gotten a new Mercedes AMG SL Roadster for my 16th birthday, just like several of my friends did. But instead, because of a trauma I went through just after my 13th birthday, my dad and I did a daddy/daughter project, and we built a Jeep Wrangler YJ from the frame up. I even built the LS engine that we put in it, with instruction from my dad. Let me tell you, I absolutely love that Jeep, it means the absolute word to me! Not because it’s valuable financially, because it isn't. I love it because it’s something I made with my dad, during a very difficult time in my life, and it brought us much closer. I still have it, it’s in storage right now with my dad’s car collection while I’m in college, but I’ll never sell it. Right now I just have a Jeep Wrangler JL 4-door, that I bought myself. I also bought my fiancé a New Toyota Prius for Christmas last year. (He surprised me with an engagement ring, and a proposal) It was not only the first car he’s ever owned, it was the first new car anyone in his family has ever owned!

There are PLENTY of good women out here who could not care less how much money a guy earns. My fiancé is a waiter, he grew up in abject poverty, and his dream is to get his masters degree in psychology, and work as a behavioral analyst for the FBI. Civil service is not exactly a "high paying job"! The only thing I wanted from a man when it came to the man I would marry, is that he treat me well, have a great sense of humor, be a kind and gentle person, be a little sensitive, but be a man, and be a man of impeccably good character. I truly did not care what he did for a living, or what he wanted to do. I suppose I would not have wanted a man who didn't want to do anything, but that’s not a monetary issue, it’s an issue of work ethic, and character.

There are so many women just like me, we just don't seek the limelight, we don’t show-up on those ridiculous dating podcasts, or any podcasts for that matter. We just live our lives, and mind our own business. Yes, there are absolutely women like that, especially in Miami, LA, and NY. But while avoiding women like that (like the plague) is admirable, assuming that all women are like that is not. It’s insulting to those of us, the quiet majority, who want nothing from a man but love, fidelity, honesty, and a lifetime of friendship from our husband.

I am here but I'm taken, about to get married within 3 weeks. Honestly I didn't even think my own wedding would be elaborated and even anticipated fewer people. My mother and some other female relative from my dad's side of the family wanted to make it special for me for the very reason that I've always been ordinary/humble (the last time I ever even wore a white dress was on my 15th b-day as that's celebrated in Latina culture for girls; that's how simple I'm referring to) and it's my first time ever marrying.

We do exist but many times aren't found in obvious places.

They're never happy. If their house is too small, they get stir crazy and want to move to a bigger house. If it's too big, then it's too much to maintain and they can't keep up with the cleaning and they want to move to a smaller house. When they want to move, they don't actually want to do any off the work to move, they want you to do it. If you do all the work and get it done, they will claim they are stressed out from all the moving even though they did nothing and you did everything. They will claim they need a vacation to distress from "all the work they did" so they can basically run away from the new home that they claimed before would make them happy. Women are flakes. Basically you just have to take charge and tell them no. Some will accept it and others will want to leave you because they think you are an asshole. It is what it is, but if you let a woman get her way, it will be never ending chaos, indecision, and unhappiness.

Ugh... the misunderstood abundance mindset in dating is so fucking stupid. I really don't get why people are confused about this point. The point of abundance mindset is to recognize that you have more than enough to make the most of what you have; not to turn your nose up at good things because there might be something better. Spoiler alert; there isn't. You get the opportunities you deserve in life.

Non-materialistic, genuinely content women absolutely exist. You have to look in the right places though.

I exist. I am a little materialistic, but not in the way you are implying.

I like to have a wide variety of clothes, jewelry, and purses to choose from, but I don't care about the price tags on the items in question. I usually actually prefer cheaper brands. I don't care about being an it girl, I just want to be able to express myself and whatever the whims of the day are. Some of my favorite pieces that I wear the most often are actually $10 or less.

That being said, I don't care about the big house, fancy car, the more, and more. That's not remotely close to how I am as a person. Allowing that sort of ideal to dictate my relationships... I find ridiculous.

Sadly, the kind of person you are describing does exist... But I don't know many girls personally who are actually like that?

I am sorry if you have been stung by girls like this, but I assure you there are LOTS of girls out there who aren't like that.

Lol oh yes! We hide over here, in the garden, nose in a book, making money for rent, cooking food. To place on a second hand table we refurbished. That potatoe I grew, created the stew, warming up on the campfire, while I count the blessings I have, starting with food.

Yes, because I am one of them. And before you count me out because of my age, I have always been nonmaterialistic.
Things are nice, but I really never needed them to make me feel happy and fulfilled inside.
The simple things in life are what makes me happy. People that love me. I mean, money cannot buy really true love.
I am glad that I have gone through my life not chasing after money and material things. That is not what makes my heart tick.

Yea but you nail probably have to stop chasing arm candy. I mean my lady is attractive to me. She is my age. She is Hispanic. Very pretty. But she isn’t a diva. 👩‍🎤. And you will have to surrender those. They should not be hard to spot and you will feel them within an hour of meeting them. If you MUST have a younger peice of arm candy and need to compete with your buddies doing them same… good luck. If you can get out of that game and realize life is too short.. then you can find one

I'm familiar with lots of young women who have country or rural or farm or hippie or low key or spiritual (not religious) attitudes. They aren't into consumerism.

I think its materialistic men who wind up with materialistic women.
