If someone is asking for nudes, it’s a clear sign to me that they aren’t serious about having a genuine relationship with me. It shows they're more focused on something physical rather than forming a real connection. And if they’re sending nudes without even asking, that’s a huge red flag for me. It’s not only disrespectful, but it also makes me question their intentions.
I’ve tried connecting with a few people on dating apps, and many of them start off acting really sweet, showering you with affection to make you feel comfortable. They seem like they’re interested in something real, but once they think you’re in a safe zone with them, they start revealing their true intentions. If they have a good physique, they start flaunting it, sometimes sending self-satisfying videos. It feels manipulative, like they’re trying to fast-track intimacy without building any real emotional connection. It's disappointing when they resort to these tactics instead of being sincere about getting to know someone.10 Reply

Any guy that pressures me for nudes gets categorized in my "not dating material" file. I disinvest any feelings I might have had for them. Doesn't mean I will stop talking to them, but it does mean that any possibility of a relationship is over.

589 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. So let's step back a bit and analyze why a man wants nudes to begin with.
The obvious, sexual gratification, an alternative to intimacy.
The less obvious, dominance, or rather over compensation for lack of dominance. "I made her do that, even though she doesn't want to".
So in the end, it's a lack of intimacy and expression of dominance.
There are other ways of approaching these.
For example, tell him to plan something and lead him to both "being the decision maker" and gradually building intimacy.
If he doesn't put effort into this, he's not interested enough, drop him.
As a warning, when he does put in effort and wants to go somewhere with you (excluding the obvious "come over"/"netflix and chill"), you have to be prepared to meet him halfway and show that you appreciate this, otherwise it will backfire and he's out.
That's my two cents anyway.30 Reply

1 yMost "people" problems boil down to simply not associating with people who conduct themselves a certain way.
Learn to identify the pushy and boundary-steppy ways that guys who ask for nudes tend to act before they ask for nudes and then intentionally avoid those guys.
I don't ask for nudes. I don't want nudes. I don't care about seeing them at all. I am extraordinarily respectful of people's boundaries. You could learn to identify them by comparing how the different men respond to situations. Find other guys who think like I do and ask them about how they would approach certain situations and then compare notes with how the guys who ask for nudes respond.

I'm not fully convinced those men even respect deep down.
- 1 y
FRFR Mandy
- 1 y
@Val713 men may not like each other, but they definitely respect each other. That's why "I've a boyfriend" card works, instead of the real reason : "I'm not interested"
- 1 y
☝️ this. Also they may not just automatically respect other men but they give more respect to other men than women most of the time. they still view women as a whole of not being equal to men.
- 1 y
Nah, we really don't automatically respect each other. Maybe other generations do, but I don't other guys I know don't, older guys in my family don't, their friends don't. I think you may be thinking of boomers...
But, ngl, "I've got a boyfriend" is vastly less likely to work for me than "I'm not interested." Cause I know I'm probably better than their boyfriend. But, I also know for a fact that I am definitely not everyone's favorite person. People either really like me, or the absolutely hate me. - 1 y
So if she says "no thanks I have a boyfriend" what is your next move?
- 1 y
Absolutely Mandy! You can see it in your own office. A man would crack weird, lame jokes on his female coworkers, but wouldn't do the same to fellas. Coz RESPECT
- 1 y
@Val713 you're weird. Do you want to be her side piece or something?
- 1 y
"I'm better than her boyfriend" is certainly a shocking, go-to response/mindset.
- 1 y
To be fair he might be better but I'm just curious after she said " no thank you, I have a boyfriend" what his next move is since he said that doesn't work on him.
- 1 y
Ngl, I usually tell them either; "he doesn't have to know," "I won't tell him if you don't," or "you can always invite him too, but he has to pay for himself and sit somewhere else."
I do usually get a laugh from the third one 😁
But the other part of what you said, I can count on 1 hand the number of men I respect. I know far more women I respect more than men. But I'm also not a feminist, I really don't believe in all that "women are seen as less than men" stuff. - 1 y
@Val713 you're coming off as a bit arrogant, tbf
- 1 y
"I really don't believe women are seen as less than men" you might not personally see it that way but that doesn't mean other men don't see women that way.
There's a huge reason why there's a giant push for women to go back to being more "traditional" everywhere you look these days.
Traditional as in the man is king of the house and women are just there to support him.
That's viewing women as second class. No way around it. - 1 y
“He doesn't have to know” seems disrespectful AF.
If I found the other guy attractive even a bit, I'd definitely feel repulsed. But thank god most people don't have my sense of intuition or morality - 1 y
@Val713 good for you
- 1 y
@mandyfire98
See, I was actually thinking about that traditional thing yesterday. I thought, you know, I can kind of get wanting women to stay home and not work so they can take care of the kids. (But it was because I was watching the Conjuring and the husband was a truck driver and the wife was always home so she always got to see all the ghost shit.) Mainly cause she was there for her kids so they weren't alone. But Vice versa, I can see the benefit of a stay at home dad for just the same reason.
Yea, can't control what all men think...
But it does go toward my point that I'm probably the better choice over their boyfriend if he does think like that.
As far as "man is the king of the house," I think that depends. I have a cousin that literally ran up $10,000 on a credit card because she is a shopping addict and her husband took her off all the accounts. But that is understandable, I would support a woman doing that to a guy who had a gambling addiction. Its what my mom did to my dad because of his drug addiction. You can't let an addict blow every penny you have.
So, I can support either the guy or girl being more controlling in a situation, if there is a good reason for it.
I will admit I've got to correct myself for one thing...
I lied, on accident, mainly cause I try to put these idiots out of my memory whenever possible. I do know guys that think that way of women. I have family that are EXTREME religious nuts, and they do believe every detail of women being less than men. But I do put that more to them being in a cult. - 1 y
@anon1903
Yea, but it also proves the point that I don't necessarily respect her boyfriend...
Ngl, I don't really believe in morality like that. It's like Christians saying being in a relationship outside of marriage is bad. I don't see it as wrong to express that I'm attracted to someone.
But, it is the one I use the least, because getting a laugh out of someone tends to work better. - 1 y
@Val713 if you're really fifteen, think these games will work. That's nice.
I'm not religious either. Atheist actually. I still would feel guilty about it. And I should. Cheating is bad, you don't need a pastor to tell you so - 1 y
@Val713 don't flatter yourself. I don't care who you are, seriously. It's the act of cheating that's just disgusting.
Anyways, I'd hope for your that you never fall in love and some guy doesn't steal your girl. Somebody as arrogant as you.
Oh and believe me, that will happen.
Until then, enjoy the ride kiddo - 1 y

1 yAsk him for a picture of his willy, wait until you receive it and then send him NOTHING 😂
Im joking! Although i have done that before so id never judge^ 🤣 . (Don't entertain his inappropriate questions) he will soon learn his lesson when he gets no response.. and most men love a chick thats not available all the time anyway. Just dont give too much away too soon would be my only advice (no nudes until you've slept together or in a relationship) The fact that your questioning it is excellent as you obviously have morals. Goodluck with it all x10 Reply
1 yDon't do what men want. Do what you want.
Them having respect for you is irrelevant. You need to have respect for yourself.

That's very true
I wouldn't give him nudes. If he wants you in that way, he should work for you. A man who doesn't work for a girl, and a girl who gives herself away is the girl that he loses respect for. A girl that has a guy work hard for her, will be cherished greatly by him

1 yI personally wouldn't send nudes at all, even if asked. Same with bikini & bathing suit pictures, no sending. So, responding "No" is all the way around. If they pressure you and you don't want to, then either remind them or just don't be with them. If it is a boundary you've set, then they need to respect it or get out.

51 ReplyOn a personal note, if a guy does that to me I either with straight up tell him no or if I'm interested I will tease him with a game of 20 questions or something so I know whether he is actually interested in me or just my body. Sometimes they will just leave me on read but some will stick around and actually have a conversation.

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yHow about not sending nudes? About abstaining from sex till marriage. I’ve never lost respect for my girl after 15 years. A lot of things that women complain about in men are the choices women make. Not all, but a lot. Like dating a man who has multiple baby mamas. A man who’s been unemployed for a while. A man who cheated on his wife or girlfriend. w you then does the same to you.

Traditionnal worldviews are associated with shame in relation to anything sexuality related, plus the idea that woman can only be slut or saint. Original source for this is well identified: Catholicism.16 Reply- 1 y
And before Catholicism, Judaism I think, already featured woman as impure. Before that... I'm uncertain.
- 1 y
Ummm I can trace that back to the very old patriarch concept, in ancient Europe. When Woman was a good to trade, a trophy to obtain, through wealth or war. In a society where Man is master, then woman is the slave, not the contrary
- 1 y
Not strange at all in fact, it's perfectly logical, viewed from afar
- 1 y
If woman had multiple husbands then woman would have been a master as well, there can't be masters without slaves
1 yDo not send pictures that will most probably be on the internet fast not worth the risk once on the net always on the net Ask yourself if is it worth the risk now and in the future
21 ReplyI would never ask for anything like that, but if I did or she offered, then I would lose all respect for her. A girl who says no and maintains her dignity is far more valuable in my eyes.
20 ReplyI think women have been put into a tough position. It's now expected that women have to put out and send nudes to their partner when they're dating. This used to not be the case. I presume the only thing a woman can do is set her own boundaries and know she'll be tested.

1 yIf he stops respecting tou after seeing you naked then he’s not the one for you…. I think if a woman finally allows a man to see her naked deserves more respect from him bcz it shows that she’s rlly into him…
and i don’t mean to prove her love a woman has to show her body…. But if ahes doing it then it’s out of love in most cases
