Why are girls so bad at communicating?

This is one I hear guys complain about a lot and I do agree to an extent sometimes it just seems like woman intentionally wanna be dickheads. For example I was sorta talking to this girl we were kinda on and off for a year she wanted something and I didn’t want anything serious which I let her know when we first started talking long story short we ended up being like friends with benefits instead of a committed relationship. But she goes away for college and we still talked but it was and sexted than recently I hit her up and she’s taking hours to reply and giving like short replies. I figured she lost interest or has a little boyfriend at the college now. Which I’m fine with but I tried flirting and she left me on open. So I texted her back calling her out on it and she kinda gave me a bit of attitude and told me she was talking to someone now. I don’t get mad or anything but I did call her out on her behavior this is something I’ve noticed a lot of girls will do instead of just letting you in advance or out right that they are now talking to someone or going to be and don’t wanna mess around with anyone while that’s going on they just start ignoring you. Why not just be straight not just be straight forward with someone it’s really rude to just ignore someone you previously had a decent relationship for the sake of someone
You’re not even sure you’ll end up with. You can be respectfully to both parties while being committed to one exclusively. Cause some girls are harder to read and it leaves someone people feeling like they did something wrong sometimes.

Women dont want to hurt you directly and thus beat around the bush hoping you will pick up the signs often not always. Bad for them that we men dont share the same social/emotional intelligence as women leading to such missunderstandings.

From reading this, it seems you have the communication issues. Try actually talking instead of tedious text messages and you might get somewhere.

They tend to thing that we guys understand hints and other cues that their female friends understand, not realizing that most of us don't.

I mean I did come to the conclusion right after she left me on read but still in general it’s nice to at least hear that from someone. Communication is important in every aspect of life, not just long term relationship. I’ve never been a fan of the ghosting thing even when I first started dating or trying to date in highschool I’ve always seen behavior like that to be rude. Speak when spoken to be polite I’ve come to learn dating just isn’t like that and people in general unfortunately.
