Why am I so bad at talking to girls?

so the thing is if i talk with a guy most of the times we share at least one interest and a conversation builds up naturally. but if i start with girls it kinda always follows this formula:
we intruduce ourselfes then basic samll talk like how u doin, where u from etc u get it but after this smalltalk i end up asking about hobbys and intrests nooow it most of the times gets awkward because none of them match i most of the time just fail to keep the conversation alive so what can i do about this?

Learn to widen your horizons. Just because you don't know about something girls might be interested in, it doesn't stop you from listening to them!
If you're in any doubts about what to say? ask them how many pairs of shoes they have and then jump in when you feel like it.. IF you can get a word in of course :P

You are 16 and learning. Don't stress yourself about it. Try to talk more about relationships. You are not bad at talking to girls. You are doing the right thing. You are putting yourself out there and building your confidence and self-esteem. Give yourself a pat on the back. Everyone got to start somewhere.
