Hello!
Matched with a girl on a datingsite yesterday. I suggested if she was still interested, lets add up on Messenger. After a short while I got a request and she greeted. I greet aswell and asked if everything was well.

Radio Silent.

She red my message this morning, but no reply. She has also been active/online still on the datingsite numours of times during this span.
After 24hours later I asked if everything was well yet again, otherwise nice to exchange some words and have a nice week.
After just 10-20min I got a lengthy reply.. I mean what the?

Yes, I know people can be busy and I respect that, but more than 18-24hours ghosting.. is it just me or aren't that disrespectful aswell? Am I wasting my time, and she kills time?

What do you think?

Hmm that is weird man. Hard to say for sure what's up with her. A few possibilities:

- She may be chatting with multiple dudes and isn't that interested in you yet. Taking long to reply keeps you on the back burner.

- Or work/life has been hectic and she does genuinely get busy, but could be better about quick replies just to keep you in the loop.

- It's also possible she's just kinda flaky/inconsistent. Likes the attention but not fully trying to meet up yet.

I'd say call her out politely next time - like "Hey, we're both on here to meet people, right? Kinda hard to do that if we don't chat sometimes. What do your weekends look like?"

See how she responds. If still vague and noncommittal, might be best to move on sibce you deserve someone excited to see you. But one more chance couldn't hurt. Keep it casual for now either way!

She gaved me one reply since the one yesterday before that. Since then, radio silent, once again. Yet again left me on read since yesterday.
So I'm going to ditch her.

Odd AF to be willing and have a very ambitiously answer when answering.. but with days-slow answers.

Ugh yeah man, that's super lame of her. Leaving you on read for days at a time even after you've messaged a bit is such a wack move on her part. Really seems like she's just not that into you, no matter what her one long reply said.

I totally agree with your decision to ditch her - you don't need that hot and cold nonsense messing with your head, bro. Any girl who's actually interested won't have you twisting in the wind wondering if/when she'll reply.

Don't even waste anymore time thinking about it, dude. On to the next! Now you know for the future not to get too invested in a girl you haven't met yet if she's acting flaky online. Better to keep your options open and keep chatting with other matches too so you're not hung up on one mayyybe.
