Her attitude towards me changed. I felt like she was treating me like a celebrity when we first met each other. This behavior lasted for a few weeks. Now she treats me like everyone else treats me. She is still nice and friendly. But not excited anymore. No more waving at me and yelling my name anymore.

I feel like her behavior stood out compared to everyone else. I have never seen a woman in my life so happy to see me. It's like she was treating me like a celebrity is the best way I could describe it for some reason. Yelling my name and waving at me from across the room.

I didn't return the excitement but I was still friendly with her and nice. Now it dried up.

I agree with the other (current) opinion on your post. This sounds like she was trying to get your attention and hoping you would make a move. You didn't so she has moved on. It is a coincidence but I just answered another question very similar to yours but the difference is that in the other post the girl seems to have started acting mean whereas the girl you are talking about is just treating you like everyone else. I take that to mean she is treating you normally and not in a bad way. So take that as a win because it could be worse like the other recent post regarding this very same situation. At least you are not in that guy's shoes.
