Probably the ones based on true stories, and documentaries? There are a lot of females who have movies and shows about parts of their life.

Oh you're a writer? Very cool. I am also. If you're worried about accuracy/authenticity when writing female characters, you're already doing better than a lot of writers, frankly. But for research, I recommend first looking up some common mistakes writers make with women (especially in the roles/genres you're wanting to write yours in) and also some "good examples" of it done well or with a twist from what is usually done.

Also for specific character traits or "quirks" it's very helpful to draw from real life. Things you've seen real women do, or traits that women you known/have known personally have, can be a great starting point for giving your female characters more unique/memorable personalities.

There isn't really one right/true way for a woman to behave, but it's helpful to know how they have usually been depicted and why different behaviors are common or uncommon, both in stories and real life. For example a female character who wants to get married, or who needs to give her daughter "the talk," will likely go about that differently than a male character would—but not necessarily.

How a female character would naturally act ultimately depends on what kind of characteristics you give her and what situations you put her in, and those things ultimately depend on what kind of story you want to tell.
