Why would someone have super high standards but cheat with losers and bums?

My friend was in a very toxic relationship with this girl for over 2 years. She was extremely one sided complained about everything. She demanded the world and was never grateful for anything he blew almost all his money on her. She was one of those that… Demanded high end restaurants and high end jewelry.

But he found out that she was cheating…. And she cheated with dudes that literally had no job living in their parents basement. Like…. Why would someone have high standards but sleep with losers? Not only that she secretly gave some of these dudes gifts that her boyfriend had bought her.

She knows she's trash deep down. But people like that still want what they want. And those losers fill some little narcissistic need she has. You friend can be Mr. Mantastic. But at the end of the day she always crave what those other guys temporarily gi e her. Tell your friend I'd it makes him feel better it's unlikely she'll ever find lasting happiness.

Yeah, as I said that loser fills some narcissistic need. She sounds like one of them women that needs constant attention. Your friend would never be enough for because no singular guy would. The one wasn’t really a criminal. He was in a traveling band…. But spent most his time smoking pot and playing video games in his parents basement.

The fact was that she was because she had caught him. She claimed he was just a friend he was suspicious because she tried hide that she was hanging out with him.

But he found messages between one another. He was a bum he was in some band that performed at like fairs and carnivals… and weddings among things like that. But most of his time was spent in his parents basement smoking pot and playing video games.

And the messages between them were not friendly at all. He never told me what they were but how it made him feel sick.

The worst part was she blamed him and claimed he was emotionally distant. But the fact was he said she was very distant. It was very one sided that she fed off his sympathy but she never cared about his needs. The only physical affection she ever gave was sexual. Until she didn’t hardly show that anymore

And she was over at his house when she claimed she was at her girlfriends. Because one of her friends snitched her out

But he didn’t want to believe it because I think her friend was trying to get with him but that’s another story.

Part of it was she had her friends covering for her. But long story short one friend kept being flirty to him and when he rejected her advances and put some distance between them. She came out with this story that she was cheating but he didn’t believe it or want to.

But him finding her messages pretty much sealed the fate of a relationship that should have ended a long time ago.

His friends also kept warning him because she was one of those girlfriends that went everywhere with him and when he was out of the room she would start acting weird and skank lol.

Not even just the cheating but he always believed her gaslighting and would play it off as if she was just being friendly and didn’t mean it that way. Despite she did and said some very questionable stuff.

The same with her friend she made this whole elaborate story about how that friend is jealous of her bla bla bla. Which I think is true they were the biggest bunch of jealous back stabbing bitches one could ever meet

If that’s what you think. I know for you you can’t even imagine doing something like this to someone you love because you’re a good person.

But unfortunately other people have said and I agree. That sex is sex to them…. They don’t want strings attached they just want to have a good time in the bedroom.

There’s men too who have cheated with very ugly looking women when they had a beautiful girlfriend.

But again I think I’m just starting to understand some people are sex addicts and just cannot form genuine relationships. They just will jump at any opportunity with any snake in the dirt whose wiling.

When it comes to a relationship they obviously want someone whose providing value to their life. But I guess sex is just sex
