Why are there are so few girls willing to dominate a shy guy?

Quite frankly, domination is not a natural mindset. It's a tendency of sociopaths who want power and control over others so that they can move up the imaginary totem pole for easier manipulation and abuse. Men typically do it to other men, women typically do it to other women.

Because most people don't like dealing with it in their own social groups, it becomes our own red flag to behave like that in a relationship for those of us who aren't sociopaths. Being shy makes people feel like they have to tip toe around your fragility to get anything out of you. Not exactly the type of person that even sociopaths want to dominate because you aren't useful in their eyes.

Shyness is often perceived as lacking experience or confidence which isn't exactly true, but perception matters. It's a reactive trait driven by fear and people pick up on that.

There's being shy, then there's being reserved. Reserved is what you want to strive for by being confident in yourself yet don't mind others taking the lead. It's the difference between pitying someone when they eventually open their mouths vs really listening to what they have to say.

That's something which "dominate" people will want to take advantage of, therefore giving you a better shot at finding a relationship dynamic where the woman takes the lead. Otherwise, you're just setting yourself up to be abused which will worsen the shyness until you become another woman hater on the internet.

I don't think that's true. You just might be better looking for a girl who is into this; and try to find someone you like among them.

I agree, you will be disappointed if you look for a girl you like, then hope she's into this.

I don't think you should have much trouble if you start with the sexual compatibility as your first criteria.

It depends. Most girls just aren’t used to leading. If a guy is dominant, they'll be submissive (most girls prefer that)
But shy guys have their own charm—they’re sweet and mysterious so dw there are lots of girls who would love it

Most women don't respect or want a male personality which is effeminate, and submissive. Most women want to play the feminine role in a relationship and are attracted to men who can play the masculine role, be decisive, a leader, and provide safety / protection.
