Why are female cleaners allowed in the male changing rooms but male cleaners are forbidden in the females?

Rape. The chances of that happening is much higher when a man goes into a female restroom than in the opposite scenario. The business is just trying to avoid liability in the same way that morticians never hire male assistants or apprentices and also never leave them alone with a corpse.

But why not send a man in to the mens and a woman in to the women's. As for rape, there are more male gynaecologists than female. To work in the public cleaning profession you would have to provide a DBS check so that wouldn't happen.

I’m sure any cleaning company that has an equal number of male and female cleaners would happily do so. You can’t always control that as the contracted building that hires them on. Get over it.

Double standards. I don't want women in men's privacy spaces. It makes me feel uncomfortable. It feels like we are not afforded the same decency and respect that are expected of us. Go figure.
