Why do girls seek validation from strangers and allow these simps to like and comment on their selfies?

My girlfriend used to call me insecure for having an issue with her thousands of followers, all pervy guys liking and commenting on every pic she would post, I told her I don't want someone who's constantly entertaining other men, she has always has been chasing validation for years before I met her, not for any marketing strategies or any businesses reasons, I've noticed a lot of girls do this, they allow ANYONE to follow them and have no boundaries or safe guarding when it comes to their personal online presence, so yeah I did message one of her simps who responded and told me he didn't know who I was talking about then messaged me again on his second profile (the one not following her) and told me this about collecting and trading... Please females be more careful, there's slimy people out there, my girlfriend was so shocked she actually closed down her insta. Guys always get told were insecure but it's not that, it's just common sense not let strangers have access to your personal socials, why is that kind of validation even a thing for girls, like do they feel they want a large audience of followers who perve on them, the ironic thing is, that slimy audience to that to so many women so it's not like it's anyone special, I hope that pic helps other guys out going through the same arguments, if I ever have kids I'd want them to be very careful you they invite on there socials, I may have under 100 people on FB but I trust every one of them

I understand your take, however, there is still a level of insecurity involved here. You are uncomfortable with your girlfriend sharing her photos for others to see. It's not like she's posting nudes on a porn site.

Some people do need validation and there is nothing really wrong with that. She should like herself in the end though, but it's no different than her needing your attention and approval. That's still needing validation from others.

I say that it's fine for her to post if she wants to. It's really no different than streamers or other social media influencers who broadcast themselves.
