Why are girls asking for follows on social media (instagram)?

Girls are asking to be followed on social media such as instagram. But who cares? I don't expect to get a girlfriend this way. Who is she and why should I follow? They are not interested in me and I'm on the lookout for a good girl.

Social media has ruined modern girls. Most of them are addicted to it. Good luck finding normal girls.

Guys have asked for DMs with inappropriate behavior off the bat before. Not all but this isn’t foreign either. And guys in a more general/neutral manner (for social media (s)) have asked for followers, equally, as females. The “follow for follow” type.

I think I’d just like to say you can’t make girls what you want or try to mold them, and at the same time no one should really try dating via social media. Another user here actually had their bio say they (I don't know) took a break/ closed down/ or stepped away from social media. Are trying GaG because it seems friendlier than social media.

With that maybe take some time to de-stress and not get so invested in this search or so. Reflect in the now and try to enjoy life on your own terms with people you find that you get along with as well as solo. Then maybe in time, through some event, friend, or in passing, you’d find someone you think to be suitable and you can be grateful for as well as vice versa.

Only time can tell. You can try to tell. Maybe that would be the peace of mind that you feel you may need.

Why does it bother you, if it doesn’t affect you? Those women according to yourself aren’t in your dating pool, so it’s not your problem to dissect why they do this. Unless if you are salty that your dating pool is extremely limited
