Trending & News I don't think that's totally fair. It really depends on the individual, and how severe your depression is at the moment. Do you think you can be a supportive and loving partner? Plenty of people with mental health struggles still find love and even get married. So if you think you can be a good partner, there is surely a woman out there who will love you regardless of the depression. But if you feel your depression is too severe right now for you to support the responsibilities and care for another person, then it might be good to continue with treatment until the depression improves a bit more.
Treatment for depression can be indefinite. Some people pull out of it eventually, but others might need medication for life. So depending on your situation, depending on the kind of treatment you're referring to, you might be 'in treatment' for a very long time. It is certainly not necessary to avoid all romantic relationships for the entirety of that time purely because you're in treatment. It's just more nuanced than that.
Then why did 57 percent of women said yes
I never said every woman is on board. The majority of people don't understand mental health well in general, men and women alike. Yet many people who struggle with mental health still find love. You don't need to appeal to the majority of women. And why would you want to appeal to women who won't be understanding about what you're going through anyway? It's the percentage who say it's not a deal breaker that are the ones to go for.
My height is 186 cm
I'm good looking and I am an English teacher at a governmental position
My depression is under control
I lost a mom at 22 and two of my brothers lost their governmental positions and got in jail over having links to allegedly coup plotter groups
Also, Many private schools did not hire me because Girl approach attractive teacher. Only the government hired me
And yeah , considering everything the woman I'm looking for should be supportive unlike the majority of women
Private schools try not to hire attractive teachers because of the concerns related to female students' approaching them
This was what I meant sorry
If you're talking women in general, I would say yes, work on you first, so when you start a relationship, she gets the real you. I think it would be unfair to her and you if you're not close to being the best you can offer. If you're already in a relationship, I totally agree with what Nikki said.
But I've been single until this age, how far should I wait?
I am 6 ft 1 and good looking English teacher
Is a depression over prior life struggles a red flag for most women?
Can't they get past this
If it's something you've struggled with your whole life, then I guess it's pretty much a part of who you are. In that case, you shouldn't avoid meeting someone, a relationship might help fill a void. I don't think depression is necessarily acred flag if you're getting treated and are honest with a significant other throughout the process. Do you think your depression has kept you from starting a relationship?
+a red flag+
No. Poverty and the fact that I live in the middle east Led to this. Our women are very hypergamous and you're invisible until you have a well-paid job
It depends on the woman. Does she piss you off, drive you crazy, is she dramatic? stay away. If she is cool and good to you, then be with her.

Yes and No. A loving relationship can give a person a reason to keep fighting and a feeling of being valued and loved.
If you feel its necessary... though without context its illogical
When the women of my conservative country sell too high towards me and I can't stand it
Almost everyone goes through a depressive episode at one point, now if they walk into a place and constantly bring the room down, then yeah you should reconsider them
