Why's my friend telling me I keep giving off wifey vibes?

I suppose that bc I've been married and I've never dated anyone without the intention of being in an actual relationship I tend to care and be protective of the guy in my life, however as a single gal who works with mostly men about 95% of the time, I must have developed a "wifey" vibe with the guys I spend significant time around -- work "wife"/"mom", church "wife"/"mom", etc.

There's a handful of times folks presume that because a guy is protective of me he's my man... but it's just a long-time (completely platonic) friend or colleague.

Finally one of my older friends old me, "You've just got that wifey vibe."

Wasn't sure what that meant and thought to ask y'all to chime in here.

Aww. Thanks OW. I was trying to figure out if that was a good or bad thing nowadays. My friend was telling me that today guys don't g. a. s. about anything so it's useless to have a wifey vibe bc it makes them feel pressure and avoid me. 🤷🏻‍♀️
