Is my wife sending me mixed signals?

My wife has stated that she wants the both of us to have a trail separation for the next three months with moving out. Naturally heart breaking for me. She has told me she needs to see that I am a man who can take care of himself on his own to know that I can take care of her. Of course I worry about losing her because I love her with all my heart. But I am curious to know if there she still has love for me or is still in love for me. Because as we get closer to my move out date, she has said things like " This separation is kind of sad". And this last Sunday, she gave me a sad look and said "I am going miss you". And then last night, I was helping her with something for work, as I was working on it about to finish it, She said " Aww. Thank you so much dear." She then put her hand on my thigh and rub it kind of fast and have a giggle.

So I wanted to ask someone's opinion. Do you think based on that that there is still love and that maybe there is still hope for our marriage. Thanks.
