Is it normal for me to follow a guy at work?

Okay so there is this guy at work that works in a different department and since summer I caught him checking me multiple times when i went out for a smoke or saw him in the hallway. Yesterday i started to find him cute actually. I went with my friends to a nearby cafe and we was there with his friends too. I went to pay the bill and he immediately went to pay it as well. When the waiter came he wanted to take his bill first but he said: no you can’t take here first, and I liked his voice lol. I found him on instagram through a colleague but I don’t know if he will think I’m a creep lol.

If you're worried he'll think you're a creep, don't worry about that haha. If you're following other people in your office he'll bound to be a suggested or recommended user anyway (People You May Know), he'd probably assume that's how you came across his profile. I think that's what most people would assume.

Also if you're certain he has checked you out before then he'd probably be more elated that you followed rather than try to psycho analyse the intention behind it haha.
