No, I would not want other people, regardless of the gender, to be attracted to the person I am attracted. Why risk cheating and losing friends for stealing the person away from me?

This is not what having friends is all about and to have them gawk or try to get him away from the boyfriend is not really the behavior of a friend, is it now?

I am not in a relationship and have no plans to be but if I was, then others simply keep their fingers and looks away from the person that has decided to spend his life with me.

Not really. It's nice to get approval from my bestie that he's a catch but I don't think I care too much if other girls find him attractive. But girls usually do though but it doesn't make me insecure about it.
