How would you describe a "down-to-earth" girl?

i hear that term all the time, and I think I understand what it means. but I'm not sure. so, what does down-to-earth really mean?

A girl who is down-to-earth is not arrogant. She doesn't look down on people or is snobbish, like those girls on Mean Girls, very snobbish. She has a personality, and she's very adaptable. She doesn't need five star everything.

To me, it means that you are agreeable, real, low-maintenance, you have a sense of humility, you're loyal, and you don't have anything to hide.
