What to do when two people like each other but are both too shy to make the first move?

I really like him, I am like 99% sure he likes me too. I've always believed the guy should make the first move so the fact that he hasn't places doubts in my mind. But I do believe he DOES like me but is afraid to make a move.

How do I get things going? I am too afraid to ask him out.

I am friends with him. We are co-workers. Lately we've been talking and texting a lot more. A few times we have texted ALL DAY long. We always go on break together at work and just talk. I feel like we are almost there but can't seem to get over that hump if you know what I mean. We've had flirty text convos, he's gone out of his way to do things for me.

just talk to him. tell him you noticed him around a few times and would like to get to know him.

I think that girls should make a move too. as far as he knows you're not interested or you might even be taken so he won't think about making the first move, but if you make the first move and after a few conversations let him know you're single he might get the hint. just remember that he's shy too so it might take him a while to warm up to you.

Tell him that there's this guy that likes you and to get out of it, you told this guy you wee with him and that if it come to it, would he make out with you to convince this guy you two were an item, if he does, then he like s you, and after you can just tell him it was a ploy to get him to kiss you,x

Leave it to the guy - he must make the first move.. however you can make it easier for him, smile, keep eye-contact, give "hints"

what kind of hints? he's leaving for vacatioin tomorrow. Today is the last day I will see him for nearly 2 weeks. Anything I can say to him before he leaves? Anything to text him while he's gone? I was thinking maybe something like "hey how's the trip going? miss me yet?!"
