What does it indicate if a guy repeats himself?

I've been on a few dates with this guy, and I find that sometimes he repeats some things he has said before. For example, he has told me about his manager (also really good friend) a few times. Or somehow our conversation leads back to him talking about his views on how life shouldn't be materialistic.

I wonder if this is because he's bored, wasn't paying attention the last time, doesn't remember talking to me about this, nervous and needed to say something?

People aren't going to remember everything. Most people seem to forget most of what people say that I know at least.. May run out of things to say. nervous. bored..

They are probably subjects he's comfortable with so when he feels like he has to say something but doesn't know what he reverts to those. Most people do that.
