My boyfriend sleeps with his cell phone...is it "okay"?

We have been going out since 3/17/2009, for the past 1wk he has been sleeping with his cell phone...what does this mean

I had a boyfriend who slept with his cell phone.

It was a big problem.

It turns out that he was part of a Swedish Mafia ring. The cell phone was his boss. Not just a communication device - his actual boss. It's hard to describe, but a little man was hidden inside the phone. Obvs he wasn't human, but whatevs. Anyway, one night that little man crawled out of the phone and... long story short, anyone wanna bid on my panties on eBay?

I have my phone next to me unless it's charging. I have it there because I use it as an alarm to wake up in the morning.

He might be using it as an alarm, needs to check updates, e-mails, msgs... think of the normal stuff before you think anything bad.

I don't think it's ideal to sleep next to a phone unless it's an alarm and sometimes not even that but sometimes it's just a convenient bother.

I always sleep with my phone especially because it's a source if entertainment when I'm having an insomnia spell and my boyfriend is asleep :) is there anything else going on in your relationship that is making you uncomfortable therefore making this bother you?

3/17/2009, St. Patricks day ANDDDDDDDDD 2 days before, that would have been my 20th birthday (March 19, 1989). I often sleep with my phone, I don't really mean to but I just do, so it's got nothing to do with having a girlfriend or not

If you're saying he has it next to his bed, I'm not sure what the problem is. I use mine as my alarm clock. If you're saying he has sex with it, you may want to re-evaluate your relationship. . .

I get it, worried he may be hiding something from you that he suddenly changed his contact with his phone. As I see this was from a long time ago I am sure there has been a conclusion, I would have just asked.

I don't know what you mean by "he sleeps with it", like, its next to his bed because he uses it as an alarm clock (alot of people do that lol), or that he holds it while sleeping xD

If he does the last thing, then I would ask if everything is ok
