How to build rapport and a connection with a shy girl?

It's discouraging, because shy girls will sometimes act disinterested, and can be confusing. And it's easy to mistake their shyness as disinterest, game-playing or being anti-social and not wanting to talk. So how can I build rapport with a shy girl and get her to open up?

And I'm at square one, where she'll avoid eye contact often, but I think she likes me 'cause she's flirted and given enough signs.

Sadly and surprisingly no girls have answered. That's not good.

I used to be in the same boat as you, when a shy girl started sending me lots of signals when she was around her female friends, but it seemed to take forever for her to get comfortable around me so I started to lose interest and slowly started to stop speaking to her.

And of course, since she's a girl, she never did initiate conversation so that was that.

Shy girls just take some added time and care. Think slow progression. They need to first be comfortable with talking, then basic human contact, then you can pursue the regular dating type situations while continuing with your slow progression.

It's not really unlike pursuing any other girl. It's just slower.
