Why does my girlfriend spoil me?

On my birthday she bought me a 500 dollar gift and this year she plans for another 500 dollar gift. Should I deny it? she insists. Am I that awesome? or does she have some issues? Any idea?

It could be many things. The best way to find out is to ask her. I love buying things for my boyfriend or even friends when I come across something that I think they'll appreciate. ike someone else said, she may just have that much money to blow, so why not. Some women fear being financially dependant on men so they over correct the issue. Sadly, it could be the possibility that whether consciously or not she thinks that will somehow make you love her more. For others it could be the only way she knows how to express love. My mom is like that. She'll never say anything heart felt and has never apologized for a thing in her life, but she will spoil me to no end. I honestly find it annoying but I just have to accept that that's her way. Anyways, talk to her about it again so you know its not due to some insecurity or something.

Some people are simply generous, particularly when it comes to people they really care about and people they feel really deserve special treatment.

If you deny it or try to, she may take offense.

If you treat her right, then just say thank you and move on.

If you're not treating her well, try treating her better or get out of the relationship (especially if you think she's trying to "buy" your affection).

shes just a generous person and makes enough money to buy expensive things, all girls get their partners gifts on their birthday not all can afford something so pricey though
