Is a girl mimicking you and using your phrases something she would do if she likes you?

Is it a sign that a girl likes you if she starts using your phrases and such over text? Like I have a lot of things that I say that are pretty unique to me, and I've noticed that this girl I've been talking to for a while has started using those phrases, and sometimes they were just goofy ways of spelling something and she has to consciously spell it wrong like I do.

Do girls do this for guys they like? Or would they also do this if it was just someone that they viewed as just a friend?

I know that there is a type of flattery called mirroring and that it is a way to show someone (most times you don't know you're doing it) that you are like them, because most people like themselves.

Just curious for some input.

Her using your sayings doesn't mean that she likes you. It does mean she's paying attention to you and what you do. And when you get that kind of attention it's usually cause she's interested in you.

She likes those qualities, sayings, mannerisms of yours, but isn't necessarily interested in "being with you."

Yes. One way of showing other people that you like them is to mimic the way they speak. It's not a conscious behaviour, it's an instinct.
