She uses the same gestures - girls do you copy a guy you like?

So when I'm talking I put up my thumbs often when communicating, only really to this girl, don't know why, I just do. Anyway, I've noticed she does it back to me now, when I dint do it to her, she will put her thumbs up to me.
Also I sing quite a lot, and sometimes when she's around, she will sing too. Not to me but maybe when talking to someone else, but it's when I can see or hear her.
Girls do you tend to do this type of stuff when you want to connect with him? If so, why?

yep. i dont think its really a giveaway that she feels romantically toward you though. a lot of the time i copy behaviors that i think are cool or attractive in a sense and would like to do. i guess i could say that it comes more naturally when its a person i feel close to or would like to feel close to. so its definitely probably that she thinks your personality is refreshing or attractive enough to want to copy bits of it but it may not be that she is attracted to you in that way. it could be though I've copied small behaviors from crushes I've had as well as my cousins and close friends and others have done it to me and I've noticed

Mirroring. Guys and girls do it without noticing or trying if they feel comfortable around someone. It's a great tool to make someone feel more comfortable around you.
An example... A guy friend of mine would sing in the car whenever we went somewhere, and it wasn't long before I started singing too. I felt comfortable to sing along because he was comfortable enough to sing in front of me. I felt closer to him when we sang together. It sounds cheesy now but I really valued that time.

It's a sign. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. People do it subconsciously when they are interested in someone. It's called mirroring and it can establish a connection between the people involved.
It can give you a weird sense of belonging. It's kind of fascinating.

I've read that mimicking someone is a sign that they like you. She may not even notice she does these things herself. Yes, it is a way of connecting with a person. I don't know exactly the reason behind it but we tend to copy or mimic things that a person we like does. Maybe to feel close to them in some way?

Yeah but then Everything else she does leads me to believe I make her uncomfortable! She's a very fidgety person, and she very often touches/ scratches her self, and reading body language sites, it leads to negative body language, but I dont know why she would be this way

Could she be uncomfortable because you make her nervous? Because she likes you?

Maybe I don't know! One day she's fine with me, then the next she'll act as if I've annoyed her or upset her

It could be that she gets bursts of confidence where she feels okay to be friendly around you. Other times she may be nervous. But since I don't know her personally these are just my guesses!
