Thank you for telling me that. He was one of my biggest fans on this website. If you never put up this post I would never have known. No wonder why I haven’t heard from him in so long. It’s surreal how he’s not coming back anymore. Just reminds you that life is so temporary

I used to talk to him often. The last time we talked he told me he was the hospital receiving oxygen. So I got worried but I thought he would be ok. After a couple of days I texted him to know if was getting better. I got no response. His birthday was on the 11th, so I sent him a happy birthday message. He still didn't reply me.
So I decided to Google him and I found his obituary. I couldn't believe it, I almost dropped my phone and felt a strange feeling in my heart.

Death can happen to anyone at any moment. Don't think this is limited to only him. This could happen to you too. Enjoy every day as if its the last day of your life.
@Arabella_Rose Of course I know that. Of course I know it's not limited to him. I'm not a child and I've seen people who were close to me passing away. And yes I do know that I'm going to die someday. I'm just sad and shocked because I liked him, is that wrong?

It’s just that many people get extremely surprised this actually happen to someone Very close in their social circles. I’m just saying , it’s more common than you think. People always assume they will make it until 80 and that they have the rest of their lives to do the things they wanna do. Nobody expects to die early. Everyone assumes they will die at old age. You’d be surprised about what happens
@menina. It happens wayy more than you think. I know of a few people who actually passed away from cancer and obesity with their lives cut short without prior notice.
Unfortunately our top killers in modern era are cancer and obesity.
@Arabella_Rose I know what you mean and I agree with everything you said. We all know death is part of life but we always get shocked or surprised when it happens to someone we knew. It's strange, you know?
If someone told me that he would die a year and a half after we met I wouldn't believe them. And sometimes I wonder if there was something I could have do to save him.

I really don’t want to say this and I really don’t think this belongs under such a post. But trying our best to do stay healthy is the biggest step towards Living a longer life. But sometimes there are also many factors that are out of our control such as work / sleep schedules , living a stressful life style , working around pollutants.
This is not the first time I’ve seen someone die early due to obesity. I think it’s kinda important that we inform folks about what can potentially happen.

I’m one of the biggest supporters of body positivity and every girl is beautiful regardless of Watever shape or size they are. But it’s also very important to remind people of the consequences of what can happen

But it's like you said there are other factors that can prevent us from living an healthy life. His death makes me think about how irresponsible I have been with my diet and my sleep schedules. I really need to change all of that.
He was always telling me to not get sick and go to bed earlier so the best I can do to honor him is to follow his advice.

I work with a lot of severely obese people. But I just never had the guts to try to warn them about the dangers. We live in society where using the word “fat” or “weight” is such a touchy offensive topic that people Only can see it as an attack.
But honestly I’m trying to live my life to the fullest every year. Go on vacations every year , new adventures as much as I can, try to look at the bright side of things , don’t hold onto the negatives. Because you want to feel like you have enjoyed your life , on the last days of your life.
This type of stuff happens way more than you think.

He died on the 30th of July due to his health issues.

No, he didn't commit suicide and he also didn't die because of Covid.

I didn't know he was about to get a surgery but he told me that he was at the hospital receiving oxygen.
On his last post you could tell that he wasn't feeling well. I believe that his cause of death was kidney failure.
