A Note On Love

Anonymous

I think, no, I believe that true love comes once in life. That someone can flip your world upside down. And that person is your mirror, showing you, what you truly are. A lot of us expect a perfect person, someone who would fit like a shoe, someone we objectify that they become unreal, no, that we become unrealistic. Are we not ourselves human? Are we so perfect? Do we not make mistakes?

A Note On Love.

I believe there's just one soul you'd share things with that you would never tell anyone else and they absorb everything you say. That you don't mind being embarassed and vulnerable in front of them and that they themselves aren't embarassed to cry with you when you're hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself.

Because you know, you can share your dreams and hopes with them not having to worry about tomorrow. A small token of appreciation, a letter, a song, a walk on a rainy day all become unforgettable, as you relish living, coveting every moment because you suddenly realise how very short lfe is. Things that never interested you before suddenly become interesting, become centre to your life.

A Note On Love

You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day but only in opening it can you truly live. But you find strength in knowing that you have a found a true friend and possibly a soulmate who can remain loyal to you for the rest of your lives. Life is entirely different, worthwhile and exciting.

You many not be their first love, their last or even their only love. But they love you now. What else matters? You may never be perfect together but if they can make you laugh, make you think twice, admit to being human when they mistakes. Hold on to them and give them the best you can. Don't hurt them, don't change them, don't analyze and don't expect more than they can give. And that is love. Simple and eloquent, making you want to live today to your fullest and not peck your head about the dangers of tomorrow. But being reassured, that whatever comes is worth facing because you have them by your side.

Because as Marley said, the good times of today are the sad thoughts of tomorrow.
