It's not a social construct. Men are attracted to women visually and just seeing a hot woman will make him want her. That doesn't mean that ALL men are going to be aggressive. Some of them are more shy and passive. It's also not about falling in love, it's about sexual attraction.
I think it's biological for men to want to chase after what they want.. Simply because of testosterone.. Now, some aspects of it may involve social construction though..
Lots of whining about this today. It's only undesirable if he's 'creepy', otherwise she complains that no one pays any attention to her. Guys go after what they want - this isn't a 'social construct'. Pshaw, you and your fancy words. LOL
This is heavily inaccurate. If it were merely cultural then where are the cultures where this isn't true?

Oh here we go... So women can lust after men and be hoes but men can’t flirt and want to sleep with lots of women. Women sleep around more than men. Women being hoes is a social construct created by the media and women follow it. There you go.
No man has ever chased me and when I chase men they automatically have a girlfriend or some other reason. I think it's because I'm just super ugly. Not everyone is fit to have someone in their life.

It's like 100% biology. Men really like sex, so they go after women.
Women are less interested in sex. So they just wait and see what they like best from their options.
This is also why gay men have way more sex than any group, and lesbian women the least.

You see animals fight each other to court women.. humans are the same. We ARE animals.

Agreed. I never flirt. If I'm interested in a chick I'll talk to her like a normal human being.
The woman on the picture is hot af, just sayin
Very true. And an annoying one at that.
Men don't always chase and seek for women, there's many straight men doing their best than being desperate and finding women.
I know that. I'm saying that it's a social construct, not biological.
Guys seek, girls reject. That's how the system works
Society.
Just about everything in human society is a social construct, including aversion to cannibalism.
And how did you end up widowed at 14?
I ended up.
i don't think that's true because humans are social creatures and they should feel the need to stay together and form relationships

Well of course there are exceptions to the rules, however the majority of relationships are initiated and developed by men.
God I hope it is, you ladies can approach from time to time pls
Just about everything is a social construct.
some girls like to practise their flirtatious skills I think it comes natural
Good, because I suck at flirting
That's okay.
i would say it's a combination of both
Being a man is really hard, society and women expect us to be confident and viril.
Everyone to their own
