I think the OP's inarticulate point is that just because a man is polite, empathetic and mild-mannered in public does NOT mean they are trying to manipulate you into sleeping with them, which is an accusation that is legitimately leveled in public.
Not the most dire issue our society should be concerned with, but definitely a big pet-peeve.

@levantine99 I understand tha women have it hard too but in this day and age lets not forget that if a man so much as is a few feet away from a woman he's already putting himself in harms way. Look at the Metoo movement. Of course these billionaires do think they can assault women and they should be put in jail. But what about guys that get blamed for sexual harassment just because they waved at a woman and smiled? That's not sexual harassment and men shouldn't have their whole life torn apart because of an accusation.

No, I'm simply saying that if you reject someone it's okay. But you don't have to insult them and put them down and make them look bad to other women by essentially calling them creeps and pedos.
