What you personally are attracted to is not the standard by which masculinity is gauged, no matter how much you might want it to be. For that matter, it isn't what "the vast majority of women" are attracted to either. Women do not get to choose what men should be any more than men get to choose what women should be.

And yeah, young men are struggling to "even get a date", but that has far less to do with masculinity than you'd believe. It is a convoluted consequence of modern culture. It is being surrounded by strangers online 24/7 with all the choice in the world and no incentive to invest in any particular one of them. The veritable Library of Babel of social interaction... where people are everywhere but none of the interactions mean anything.
It'll probably turn back around again in a few decades. But at least a generation or two of young folks will have died virgins by then. Too bad for them, I guess.
