Why does he like to pick me up and put me in certain places?

The guy I'm dating is a lot bigger and stronger than me physically. I'm a really petite girl.

He seems to really like picking me up and putting me in certain places. Like he will pick me up and put me on chairs, put me in his lap, throw me over his shoulder, etc.

I love it, but I'm just curious why he seems to like it so much. Does it make him feel masculine and "strong"?

If you look at my profile picture you'll see my girlfriend and I (petite girl and huge guy). I share the same need to pick her up all the time. I would agree that it makes me feel masculine and strong. In any other scenario I wouldn't be able to simply pick a girl up but with her it's like lifting a box of feathers.

It may also be a territorial thing if he does it in public. One of the reasons I did it during school (when we were both in highschool) was to show her off and to look cute together (mission accomplished).

And MAYBE (idk how sexual you guys are) it may be an excuse to touch you. You may occasionally feel his hands grab your butt to "make sure you don't fall" . Could be genuine though, could be both.

yes it makes him feel masculine and like he has dominants witch seems to be what you enjoy so as long as it's all in fun and nothing negative is going on then enjoy it.
