He says he thinks I'm very sweet and very special.. What does that mean?

Okay so I've been seeing this guy for about a month or so and we have great chemistry and amazing sex and the first few weeks were like a whirlwind where we spent a lot of time together.. He got out of his last relationship about 7 months ago and she really hurt him.. like bad.. So after the first 2 weeks of us hanging out he tells me that he really likes me but he's worried we're going to fast and that he always does that in his relationships and he doesn't want to do it again.. So naturally I withdrew a little but he emphasized that he still really wants to see me he just wants to take things slow.. Which I'm fine with.. but then I saw him last night and we spent the night together.. literally a perfect night with a scary movie, we exchanged back massages and then took it in the bedroom.. We always wake up with "fun" (if you know what I mean) and this morning was no different.. it was kind of a perfect morning.. Then about 5 minutes after I left he text me and said, "I hope you have a good day!! =)" and I responded with, "You too :)" and thennn he said "I think you're very sweet and very special" and I said "You're pretty great yourself.." then I haven't heard anything else.. granted he's at work but now I'm sitting here over analyzing this text message.. what does he mean by "you're very sweet and very special.." It sounds like a prelude to a break up type text or is that just me over thinking? Ugh I hate my wandering mind..

I think he needs time to heal. It sounds to me like he likes you a lot but is worried that he may get hurt again. Do what you can to ease his fears and take it slow with him.
