My boyfriend shuts me out when he's upset and I don't know how to handle it?

He's going through a lot and he feels like he can barely handle himself. I spoke to him about it a little and he said he's distant because of the problems in his life. Until last week he spoke to me all the time. All day long. This week he only messaged me a few times the entire week and now he hasn't even read my message on what's app.

He's definitely shutting me out and I didn't do anything wrong. I know he's going through a hard time but the way he's acting hurts me. I also haven't seen him in a week. I don't expect to see him as much bc he has a lot of problems and is working like a dog and he told me he can't live like this much longer.

I don't know what to do anymore or how much longer I can tolerate this.

I think talking too much become boring and annoying, he maybe didn't tell u that
give him some space and time
he needs to deal with his problems and organize his life
don't worry about it if ur recent conversations were good , fun and not boring

It's the way most guys are, hiding emotions... Especially around girls. If you're worried about him you're just going to have to persist, otherwise try and let him handle it or get one of his friends to talk to him if you know them.

I know it must be bad for you, unfortunately I think you're just going to have to give him space. Eventually he'll realise he doesn't need to hide his emotions from you and you're able to help him get through these situations.
